Writer Heidi Sarna recently cruised on the Hooghly River and shares her images. The 2014-built 40-passenger Raj Mahal cruises the Hooghly River, otherwise known as the Lower Ganges, and a few times a year in September, cruises upstream on the Upper Ganges all the way to Varanasi.
