COMPANY FACTS

* Privately held company.

* Sells business travel and meetings products and services to companies in almost 140 countries.

2023 DEVELOPMENTS

* Integrated WhatsApp into the company's messaging support channel, giving travelers another way to contact the company for assistance.

* Introduced products to help meetings and events planners create a better attendee experience and boost sustainability.

* Completed rollout of a cloud-based business intelligence and reporting tool to client base.

* Expanded NDC coverage, including content from 11 airlines, via three technology partners (Amadeus, Sabre and  Travelfusion), and booked and serviced NDC content for more than 1,000 customers across 13 markets through travel counselor-assisted channels and four online booking tools (Concur, Cytric, GetThere and Serko).

* Established partnerships, including with Spotnana, to develop technology-led products and with Booking.com for Business to bring the company's corporate travel expertise to the small and medium enterprise market.

LOOKING AHEAD

* Being acquired by American Express Global Business Travel for $570 million in cash and stock, according to a March announcement. Each company's board of directors approved the deal, according to Amex GBT, and the transaction is pending approval of shareholders and regulatory authorities.

* Deploying generative AI across more products and services to benefit customers and employees, including its messaging service channel. Live translations within the messaging service allows travelers to quickly access support in their preferred language.

* Looking to boost the company's virtual assistant's ability to better understand each customer's unique preferences, previous travel patterns and specific business requirements.

* Making business travel easier for travelers with visible and non-visible disabilities.

* NDC will remain a top priority in 2024. Will be focused on expanding its global footprint by implementing more airlines and markets as they become available; enabling NDC in customers' channel of choice and continuing to be a trusted advisor; and improving NDC product integration through advocacy and partnerships, delivering full servicing capabilities that are fit-for-purpose for business travel.
