When the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival returns later this week, several new topiaries will make their debut, including Groot from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" trilogy.

This year's festival, which includes special displays of topiaries, entertainment, interactive displays and plenty of food and merchandise, runs from Feb. 28 to May 27.

Fittingly, the Groot topiary will be located near the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction.

Also making their festival debut will be the characters Asha, Valentino and Star from the animated film "Wish" at the main entrance to the park and Miguel and Dante from "Coco" in the Mexico pavilion. Figment the dragon will be located in the newly opened World Celebration Gardens.

During the festival, guests can visit some 25 garden destinations around the park, with plenty of learning opportunities; 18 outdoor kitchens with special food and beverage options; scavenger hunts; and a butterfly house.

The Garden Rocks concert series takes place daily at the American Gardens Theatre Stage. This year, several new groups will perform, including Modern English, Crowder, Fonseca, Lit and Monsieur Perine. In another festival first, Raul Acosta and Oro Solido will take the stage with Luisito and play again the next day with Magic Juan.

Garden Rocks dining packages are available at a number of Epcot restaurants.
