Natural Habitat Adventures, a leading provider of conservation-focused adventure travel experiences, is introducing an 11-day Kenya safari itinerary in 2025 that will focus on rhino conservation efforts. The Kenya Rhino Conservation Safari provides behind-the-scenes access to renowned conservancies and programs working to protect and restore Kenya's endangered black and northern white rhino populations.
The small group safari visits several private conservancies as well as Masai Mara National Reserve. Highlights include meeting the world's last two surviving northern white rhinos and their guardians at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Guests will also track endangered black rhinos at Lewa Conservancy and go behind the scenes at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's orphanage to learn about rhino rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
"Our exclusive access to those working to achieve rhino conservation success, combined with stays at deluxe, secluded bush camps, make this unique adventure the best way to witness these efforts in one of Africa's most beautiful regions," said Ben Bressler, Natural Habitat's founder and president.
Safari guests will stay at Natural Habitat's upscale Rhino Camp within Ol Pejeta's 90,000-acre black rhino sanctuary as well as the Lewa Wilderness Lodge and the remote Mara East Camp bordering the Masai Mara. Groups of no more than 12 guests are led by expert guides and expedition leaders.
As the travel partner of World Wildlife Fund, Natural Habitat aims to promote conservation through sustainable tourism that supports local communities and ecosystems.
Rates for the Kenya Rhino Conservation Safari start at $17,595 per person, excluding internal airfares. Departures are offered from May through October.
