The NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa opened May 16, representing the debut of the NH Collection brand in Finland.

The 224-room property combines two historic buildings, the Art Nouveau-style New Student House and the Hotel Seurahuone, Helsinki's oldest continuously operated hotel and one of the city's best-preserved heritage properties.

The centrally located hotel features dining at the Hansa Cafe Bar & Brasserie, drinks at the Kupoli bar -- located in the historic dome-shaped tower with a 360-degree view over the city -- and a wellness center with a Finnish sauna, steam room, infrared and a fully equipped gym.

The property also features more than 2,000 square feet of events space and nine flexible, technically equipped meetings rooms.

The hotel is the brand's second in the Nordics, following the NH Collection Copenhagen in Denmark.
