After godmothering Oceania's Vista last year, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has stepped into the role of brand and culinary ambassador for Oceania Cruises.
De Laurentiis, an Italian-American chef, cookbook author and TV personality who appeared on the Food Network for 20 years, will co-chair the line's new culinary advisory board with Jacques Pépin, a founding member of the line's culinary team and Oceania's original executive culinary director.
The board's mission is guiding, developing and reinforcing the cruise line's goals to serve the best cuisine at sea, which will include inviting respected chefs to join the initiative.
Executive culinary directors and master chefs of France Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale will also play key roles for the advisory board.
