Penguin Trek, SeaWorld Orlando's new family roller coaster, will open July 7.
Riders will approach Penguin Trek from an air-conditioned queue. From there, they will board snowmobile-style cars for a ride on indoor and outdoor tracks. The coaster will reach a speed of 43 mph on its 3,020-foot track.
When they disembark, guests will find themselves inside a penguin habitat where they encounter the attraction's namesake.
"Penguin Trek offers a unique blend of thrills and education, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the wonders of Antarctica while highlighting our dedication to wildlife presentation and family-friendly fun," said Jon Peterson, president of SeaWorld Orlando.
The attraction will welcome riders from 42 to 77 inches tall.
Penguin Trek will be located in SeaWorld Orlando's new Antarctica Realm. It also includes the South Pole Sips bar and the reopened Expedition Cafe.
SeaWorld Orlando Pass members will get early access to the coaster starting July 2.
