For the first time, a haunted house at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights will feature American Sign Language.

Universal's Halloween event to feature haunted house with 'A Quiet Place' theme

The house will be themed to the films "A Quiet Place" and "A Quiet Place Part II," in which the Abbott family must remain silent to avoid sightless creatures that attack anything that makes noise. American Sign Language is used in the films. (A third film in the series, "A Quiet Place: Day One," debuts on June 28.)

The house will be located at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights events in California and Florida.

Universal said the house will feature "unique sound design, special effects and the adept performances of the scare-actors to convey an ominous sense of dread depicted in the films."

Guests who make noise will be "hunted."

"The snarls of the larger-than-life predators will follow guests at every spine-chilling turn, and guests must remember: If they hear you, they will hunt you," Universal said.

Tickets are on sale now for Halloween Horror Nights. The event will be held on select nights from Sept. 5 to Nov. 3 in California and Aug. 30 to Nov. 3 in Orlando (a special Premium Scream Night on Aug. 29 will also be held in Orlando).
