Railbookers has relaunched itineraries in New Zealand with six train journeys that span the country's two main islands.
The rail vacations packager had stopped offering trips in New Zealand due to the pandemic.
Itineraries range from eight to 19 days, onboard New Zealand's three main rail services: Northern Explorer, Coastal Pacific and TranzAlpine. Service aboard the Interislander ferry, which crosses the Cook Strait between the North and South Island, is included in trips where applicable.
The Northern Explorer travels between Auckland and Wellington on the North Island, the Coastal Pacific travels between Picton and Christchurch, and the TranzAlpine from Christchurch to Greymouth.
Sightseeing activities include taking in the natural wonders of the destination (such as the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and Fiordland National Park) or cultural experiences like a three-course traditional Maori feast.

"The diversity of experiences New Zealand offers is a true marvel for travelers worldwide," said Sarah Handley, Tourism New Zealand's general manager -- the Americas & Europe. "An itinerary here can take you to national parks, beautiful beaches, thrilling diving spots, stunning fjords, bubbling geothermal areas, exciting adventures, scenic wine regions and iconic Hollywood film locations."
Prices range from $2,499 per person for an eight-day itinerary to $8,099 per person for a 19-day journey.
