Sabre on Wednesday introduced a retailing platform for airlines, SabreMosaic, that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized offers for customers.
SabreMosaic's AI capabilities are powered by Google.
Sabre said the platform's offer-and-order retailing streamlines the booking process, consolidating information into a single customer record. Traditionally, airlines have used the passenger name record, e-tickets and the electronic miscellaneous document for ancillary purchases.
Michael Reyes, Sabre's senior vice president of product management, said SabreMosaic will serve all airlines, including low-cost carriers.
"It harnesses the power of artificial intelligence to empower airlines to dynamically create, sell and deliver higher-margin, personalized content," Reyes said.
Offers can be based on traveler preferences, history and tendencies.
