After being forced to delay its debut due to supply chain issues, the Sandals Royal Curacao has opened its doors.
Located within a 3,000-acre protected reserve known as the Santa Barbara estate, the Sandals Royal Curacao comprises 351 rooms and suites, eight restaurants, three food trucks and 13 bars.
The resort is home to Sandals' first bilevel infinity pool, which offers both sea and mountain views.
The resort showcases a variety of new concepts for the Sandals brand, including seven new culinary venues.

These additions include open-air Mediterranean restaurant Aolos, European fusion restaurant Vincent and the Toteki food truck, which serves a traditional Curacao menu.
Also new on the culinary front is Sandals' first off-site dining program. Under the Island Inclusive program, guests staying in butler-level suite accommodations for a minimum of seven nights, as well as higher-tier Sandals Select Reward members, are granted a $250 voucher that can be used to dine at one of eight partner restaurants in the destination. Roundtrip transportation to the restaurant is included.
Top-level suites also include complimentary access to a convertible Mini Cooper.
