Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Disney's retheming of classic attraction Splash Mountain, will open at the Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom on June 28.
The attraction will feature dozens of Audio-Animatronics figures, music new and familiar and its signature 50-foot drop.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is based on the 2009 animated film "The Princess and the Frog," and will feature characters like Princess Tiana, Mama Odie and Louis. Disney also teased that some "all-new friends" that will appear.
Throughout the attraction, original music and music from the film will be played by the bayou's inhabitants, including an otter, a rabbit, a racoon, a beaver and a turtle. Their instruments are crafted from natural materials found in the bayou.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure replaces Splash Mountain, which was based on the 1946 film "Song of the South." That film has been criticized for years for racist and offensive stereotypes. The retheming of Splash Mountain is part of a multiyear effort at Disney to be more inclusive.
The attraction will open at Disneyland Park in California later this year.
