The new DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios Florida will open on June 14. It is one of a number of new offerings coming to Universal this summer, including a parade and two nighttime shows.
The new parade, the Universal Mega Movie Parade, will begin July 3 at Universal Studios Florida.
The parade celebrates all things movies, including "E.T.," "Back to the Future," "Jaws," "Ghostbusters," "Jurassic World," "Minions," "Sing, "Trolls" and "Kung Fu Panda." It will feature 13 floats and more than 100 performers.
Universal this week offered a sneak peek of some of the parade's elements, including a marching drum line performing the score from "Jaws" alongside a related float and a 16-foot Stay Puft Marshmallow Man on top of the "Ghostbusters" float. In the parade's finale, fans will see a Gyrosphere, raptors and a tyrannosaurus rex aboard a "Jurassic World" float.
Bubble wands will interact with some of the parade's floats.
Featuring characters from DreamWorks Animation's "Shrek," "Trolls" and "Kung Fu Panda," DreamWorks Land will feature attractions, interactive play areas and a new live show.
