American Airlines will add Governor's Harbour to its list of Bahamas destination from Miami next winter. The route is one of several the carrier will add from its Miami hub.
Twice-weekly Governor's Harbour service from Miami will launch Feb. 3. It will be the lone nonstop operation between the South Florida airport and Governor's Harbour, according to Cirium flight schedule data. However, from nearby Fort Lauderdale, Silver Airways currently operates weekly seasonal service to Governor's Harbour.

American will also introduce weekly winter seasonal service from Miami to Buffalo, N.Y.; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Lexington, Ky.; Wichita, Kan.; Wilmington, N.C.; and Milwaukee. Each of those routes will run from Nov. 11 to March 30.
In total, American said it will offer 10% more seats out of its Miami hub next winter than it did this past winter.
