Playa Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International are partnering to bring a Luxury Collection all-inclusive to Mexico's Riviera Maya.

The project involves a reflagging of the Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita Riviera Maya in Puerto Morelos. After a conversion process, the resort is expected to re-emerge and late this year as the Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Adult All-Inclusive Resort, Riviera Maya.

The 14-acre resort will have 100 guestrooms and three restaurants, including a culinary venue with a 5,000-bottle wine cellar. Plans also call for a 22,000-square-foot spa.

Additionally, the property will be home to an exclusive resort within the resort, which will offer 10 suites with private plunge pools and beach access as well as its own exclusive pool and two dedicated restaurants.

The Paraiso de la Bonita will be the second resort in Playa's portfolio to add Luxury Collection branding, joining the Sanctuary Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic.
