To mark the debut of the first U.S. commercial nonstop route from Miami to Ian Fleming Airport in Ocho Rios, Sandals and Beaches Resorts is offering a Love and Let Fly package.
The package, whose name is a play on the novel "Live and Let Die" by James Bond author Ian Fleming, is curated exclusively for passengers arriving on American's new flight AA4007 from Miami. It includes an Island Routes Powerboat Adventure for guests at participating Sandals Resorts in Ocho Rios: Sandals Dunn's River, Sandals Royal Plantation and Sandals Ochi. The all-day excursion will take guests across the North Coast, including a dive into the crystal blue waters of the Laughing Waters Beach that was featured in the James Bond film "Dr. No."
Guests booking the package at Beaches Ocho Rios will receive a complimentary Island Routes Dunn's River Catamaran Cruise that pairs snorkeling with views of the Jamaican coastline, including a visit to the archetypal Dunn's River Falls, also featured in "Dr. No." (The film was the first of the Bond novels to be featured on the silver screen. Subsequent films "Live and Let Die" and "No Time to Die" were also shot on the island).
Guests staying at Sandals Dunn's River can also sip on a Jamaican Rum Old Fashioned, a cocktail that celebrates the AA4007 route and uses limited-edition Blackwell 007 Jamaican rum.
The commissionable package is available to book through May 16 for travel through May 24 and does not include air. The Sandals package is available in all room categories, but guests must book for at least five nights to receive the complimentary powerboat or catamaran trips. For info on rates, visit the Sandals or Beaches sites.
