DreamWorks Land in Universal Studios Florida opened to guests on June 14.

The land, announced last summer, features experiences with characters from "Shrek," "Trolls" and "Kung Fu Panda."

At the entrance, guests will find themselves in Shrek's Swamp in the shadow of his 35-foot-tall cottage. The area features character meet-and-greets, play areas, a snack kiosk and an interactive experience with Mama Luna and her cats from "Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish."

DreamWorks Land is also home to Trolls Village and the Trolls Rollercoaster, a playground, an ice cream kiosk and a gift shop.

At Po's Kung Fu Training Camp, guests can enjoy a digital meet-and-greet with Po and his little cousin, Ling Ling, and enjoy a play area with wet and dry options.

The land is capped off by the DreamWorks Imagination Celebration, where guests enjoy a party-like atmosphere with songs and dancing, and the DreamWorks Character Zone, featuring characters like Gabby from "Gabby's Dollhouse."

In addition to the new land, two new shows opened at Universal on June 14: "CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular" over the lagoon in Universal Studios Florida, and "Hogwarts Always," a castle projection show in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter -- Hogsmeade in Universal Islands of Adventure.

Still to come this summer is the Universal Mega Movie Parade at Universal Studios Florida. Billed as the resort's largest daytime parade, it will celebrate iconic movies like "Jaws," "Jurassic World" and "Minions." The parade debuts July 3.
